Street Manager and EToN (Electronic Transfer of Noticing) are the terms used for the two way transmission of notices between Utility Companies and Highway Authorities in England and Wales.

The Northern Ireland Streetworks Register and Notification System (NISRANS) was changed in May 2009.

Streetwork Solutions were tasked to be a key training provider to hundreds of new users across the Roads Service and Utility groups prior to the successful introduction of the system.

Since 2009, we have been providing training, business processes and consultancy to the Roads Service (Via Symology Ltd) and direct to many Utility clients including BT, NI Water and NI Electricity.

Section 74 Charges

Charges were introduced for unreasonably prolonged works with an initial charge of between £100 and £2500 per working day of overrun. Streetwork Solutions help reduce any Section 74 charges that could be incurred.

New Roads and Streetworks Act 1991

The key streetworks legislation enacted in September 1993 to replace PUSWA 1950. This legislation underpins the significant requirements including the Traffic Management Act 2004, Transport for Scotland Act 2005, Permit Schemes and Lane Rental.
